This Stockwell restaurant and bar specialises in food and drink from Latin America, with its focus on Colombia and Peru. It's located half way up Clapham Road, so it proves a convenient spot for those getting off the tube at Stockwell.
The food menu ranges from empanadas, yucas fritas and ceviche to churrasco steaks, fried whole tilapia, sizzling mixed grills and bandeja paisa - a traditional dish from Antioquia comprising grilled Colombian chorizo, steak, fried pork ribs, beans, cornbread, rice, salad, plantain and a fried egg. It's traditionally served on a tray, which sounds sensible.
Dishes from outside of Latin America feature too, with Spanish paella and tapas alongside fish and chips, chicken and pesto pasta, and steak in a peppercorn sauce. Salads with a Mediterranean slant are also on offer.
