Frances ,

I recently went for a meal with my partner , I order a medium to rare steak as that's how I like it but to my discuss it was medium to Raw cooked steak cold to touch in the middle totally uneatable and then I had to literary argue with the manager the fact they where still trying to charge me for something that was not cooked probably , I was told that I personally should of came to her and showed her coz she is the manage like I should on know she was the manager , I complained to 2 members of her staff that should of made the manager a aware of the problem , the manage also kept on repeating that I asked for medium rear and that's how there steak was cooked , mine was raw in the middle cold to touch uncooked, so it's easy to say I wouldn't be a returning customer nor would I recommend this restaurant , I wouldn't give a star but have to to leave my comment

La Pampa is one of my favourite restaurants. It has an unassuming and rustic charm and the food never disappoints – especially the roast duck and sautéed potatoes :) My boyfriend loves the sirloin steak. The prices are reasonable and it has a cosy and friendly atmosphere. The waiters are always friendly... and they love to dance! For me, La Pampa is a hidden gem amidst the rows of chain bars and restaurants found on most high streets.

Pleaaassseee! this place is appalling. As as self-respecting meat eating Latin American I would never set foot in this place ever again. They claim to be Argentine and they don't even know how to make the traditional 'chimichurry' sauce which is a must with an Argentina steak. I am surprised they are still in business, but I guess when people are lead to believe they are having something authentic and it tastes 'alright' and no one complains they don't have to care too much, do they?

Went there with my wife on Saturday 16th February 2013 staff dressed in jeans asked for steak to be cooked Well done had to send back after a debate was nice but no side dishes apart from salad or brocoli use to Breaded mushrooms and onion rings in other steak restaurants one dish of chips for two people choice of Puddings three on menu apple crumble with one scoop of ice cream after sending that back for the ice cream very exspensive not value for money staff did not ask if everything okay had to ask them for drink water jug Not polished water marks on top would not go back or recommend do not object to prices but expect a good Service and good food variety on menu this was not the case know wonder they closed the shop in Battersea Rise.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Firstly bread is presented to you when you sit down (we'll come back to this!)my friend and I ordered sirloin steaks (£16.95) that is the price of steak only ordered side order of chips and salad, we ordered the steaks rare for myself medium rare for my friend my steak arrived medium rare not rare at all no offer of sauces let alone salt or pepper!! My friends steak was well done, when she asked politely if it was possible to have it medium rare as she asked. The staff were unhelpful and rude really not happy to replace it but grudgingly did, no apologies and a sniggering check to see if steak was ok. Bad attitude bad food and when bill arrived to top it off the bread had been charged for!!! Just awful!!!
