This gem of a French restaurant, tucked quietly away in SW15 since 2002, is known first and foremost for its desserts - not least a crème brûlée that ranks among London's best. Starters and mains span a range of competetently prepared classics, most notably a tender entrecôte au poivre vert and an enjoyably flavoured and textured cassolette d'escargots à la forestière. Service is second to none.

This sweet little restaurant does amazing French food at a seriously reasonable price. I went on Valentines Day and even then they managed to provide great service, outstanding food and at great value. The great thing about this place is that it is always quiet as it is in such a quiet location and they do take away so you can cheat on date night and pretend you made it yourself ;)
