  • Lupita has the best Mexican food in London. It's authentic, made with quality ingredients, and delicious. The vibe is good and the cocktail lounge in the commercial street venue is awesome. Did I mention the drinks? Top-notch. Go there and see for yourself.

  • I read some of the reviews and am shocked. This place is very good, although pricey. The meat is tender and juicy, salsas all homemade and I found a lot of creative taco dishes on the menu. The Gorbenador (spelling?) With prawns and a spicy chipotle-esque sauce is amazing. Margaritas are perfect too made with real juice...not cheap mixes. Tables are small and the food takes time, but it's worth it.

  • Overpriced and very bland food! A real disappointment as I was looking forward to this place. The burritos are practically tasteless and almost double the price of those at Chipotle! We constantly had to ask for sour cream and chilli sauces so the food was cold by the time we had enough flavourings to improve it

  • Looking for a cheap eat with a bit of character this was the obvious choice in the street. Cramped tables with not much elbow room different deter us to much and the lunch menu offered a good choice at a great price. I started with refried beans and my friend the nachos. My beans were disappointing, reminiscent of weetabix made with hot milk, saved only by delicious salsas available. The nachos on the other hand were delicious, great guacamole. Mains were also mixed, my shredded pork burrito was filling but lacked punch, although the squeeze of chipotle mayonnaise on the top added a bit of zing, could have done with bowl full though. The chorizo quesadillas were delicious, but spoilt by the bullets of potato that needed to be picked out to really enjoy the dish. Two courses with soft drinks for two people came to £26 including tip.

  • I could find no fault with the food or drinks here. As soon as I saw Horchata and Flor de Jamaica on the menu I knew I was in good hands! The meal didn't disappoint (we tried a burrito and enchiladas) and staff really knew the menu. Although we didn't order much (or so we thought) the meal was filling and kept me satiated for many hours. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and have every intention of visiting again.

  • Went to this Mexican place by charing cross the other night for a party with friends, most who had been here before and always talk about how great the food and drinks are. Mi can't believe I waited so long to finally try it! Spicy dishes, lots of choices and a everything was very tasty and fresh. Cristina our waitress was very nice and friendly as well!

  • I stumbled upon this place at the weekend, a fairly large sized group-16 people. They sat us down straight away and even gave us our own section downstairs which we appreciated. I was quite excited by the menu and my mouth was watering after reading the drinks menu. However, once our orders were put through things went downhill straight away! In such a large group we lost track of time and didnt realise our drinks hadnt arrived even after an hour. Our waiter was frazzled and didn't communicate with us. We each got our drinks seperately and that took another 45 minutes. He did not apologise for the delay or give us a reason. Finally a plate of food came out, but the relief was short lived as it took another 20 minutes for another plate to come out. After everyone had got there food I was still left without a dish, when he came out he brought the wrong dish and told me I must've forgotten my order!!!the cheek! I think I know the difference between chorizo and beef! We spent 2 and a half hours in this restaurant and it was a complete nightmare I honestly regret stepping into this place. The food was good when it actually arrived but I was seething after the treatment my friends and I endured! Our waiter was rude, confrontational and unapologetic. The manager was understanding and apologised, but that waiter should not be in the hospitality industry especially with that attitude.

  • Myself and a few friends thought that it's been such a gratefull experience find a restaurant where the food taste like home. Mexico is a country with a contrast on flavours and with such a rich cuisine. Definitely Lupita tick all the boxes. A few Mexican friends told me about it and I could not believe that tacos al pastor where available out of Mexico!!! Wow! And the salsas served for the tacos where so yummi!! Just like grandmother did. We had guacamole artesanal prepared on our table. That is such a plus I'd you are looking for fresh food. We tried Chicharron de queso, costras, alambres and it was just like in the taco shops in Mexico!! We wonder how they managed to have all this together in central London. A real taco shop where we as Mexicans can hang out for a taco like if we were in our country. The carnitas where super and we tried the Sopa de verduras, and all of us Agreed that tasted like home again. The restaurant was packed in a few minutes and the Mexican music loud and vibrant made out night as all of us end up singing and having out favourites tequilas. We had chance to chat with the waitress who was from Mexico aswell and we want to thanks her for such a great time!!! Not only to her but to who ever is behind of such a cool restaurant. We definitely advise to any one feeling home sick to visit this venue!!!

  • Had an amazing time at this place the other night. The staff is friendly, the food is as real mexican as you can get in London! The Pastor tasted just like it does in Mexico City. The Chicarron was great as well and also the ceviche is fresh and served on an avocado. It you want to eat real mexican you got to check this place out. Great margaritas too. Will be a regular here now that I found it.
