  • Two of us ate here last night. The service was poor even though the restaurant was by no means full. We had the sharing Taco dish When the tray of assorted fillings arrived they looked stale and dried up, certainly they were not freshly made, the resulting outcome was two severely upset stomachs the following morning.

  • I went with my family for the brunch at Mestizo a few days ago. It was really great! Service was excellent and food really lovely. My kids enjoyed the quesadillas and I just loved the tacos, great value too!

  • I went to Mestizo last week for the first time and I'm so glad I did. I chose for the taco tray which was delicious. Strongly suggest to book in advance as it gets really busy in the evenings. I'll definitely go back, especially to try the Sunday brunch which I've heard is really good.

  • Mestizo always impresses me with the size of their dishes. I am a meat lover so the tampiquena is my favourite main dish and it's always delicious. The atmosphere is great, staff is very friendly and always willing to help. I am a huge tequila fan and Mestizo is the perfect place to discover new tequilas.

  • Mestizo is by far London's most authentic Mexican restaurant. I keep going back over and over again to get a taste of home. Starters are amazing, flautas, quesadillas, jaladas, etc and I always struggle to make up my mind in choosing my main. I always fall for the enchiladas or the mole, and never have enough room for dessert. Few people know but Mestizo is also perfect for vegetarians and they have a special menu for them. I love it!

  • Authentic Mexican food, not TexMex. The people that found it awful is probably because they were expecting TexMex. Food is delicious at Mestizo, although I must admit the portions are fairly generous, to share between 2 people. I recommend the Sunday buffet to try a bit of everything and learn about Mexican cuisine.
