This place just needs to shut down now as its embarrassing. Fish was ok but the chips were as bad as they can get. the price was just stupid and service is best forgotten about. Too may times have I walked out with that thought. Never again. There are better places not that far.

Distressed pink plasterwork and artfully exposed brickwork, the ballustraded mezzanine, sad-looking pot plants and wonky wall lights – Olley’s time- and trend-defying Greek taverna/provincial pizzeria interior seems to have existed for ever. But people don’t come for the ambience, they come for the fish and chips.
Once described as among the best in London, it would now struggle to make the top ten, but the fish remains fresh and well cooked, the batter crispy and the chips non-greasy (but also fairly taste-free). If you’re not in the mood for a fish supper, there are more sophisticated options such as mussels, calamares or lightly grilled lemon sole, but mostly it’s all very old school: breaded scampi, minimal wine list, fizzy drinks, and desserts such as spotted dick and custard or ice-cream sundae topped with squirty cream and a fan-shaped wafer.
Service is pleasant but woefully slow, so if you’re in a hurry, grab a carry-out and eat it across the road in beautiful Brockwell Park.

Rly Bad fish size portions compared to last year when I went there. Menu has changed. you have to buy your side dish separatly and it costs more when u add it up.But if you fancy a small meal the fish size is more like a fish finger size. The manger reckons the portion was the same as before. Perhaps their scales need checking. At this rate, ikea offers better value fish.
Hugely overrated Precut chips cooked in cheap oil don't justify the upmarket prices Kudos for the selection of fish though
Good service great food you must try there pee frita's there cod is so good two people i have taken there that dislike fish loved it although expensive as a local chippie it is good value as a resturant
Visited Ollys during the Christmas/New Year holiday. "James Nesbitt Experience", totally overpriced.Piece of haddock very small, too much batter (to make it look BIG) and mushy peas were more puree than peas.Soggy catering chips to fill up the plate. Overpriced, poor quality and not worth another visit! Total waste of money!!!
Enjoyed our lunch at Olleys - the salmon fishcake was lightly battered and very fragrant. Our plaice fillet was equally tasty, light and crisp. We shared a portion of chunky chips, which was plenty between two of us, and washed it all down with two perfectly formed glasses of Pinot Grigio. The service was friendly and attentive and the park view was definitely a bonus and a lunchtime treat! Will definitely go back to try more of their huge range of fish.
Went to Olleys last night for dinner. Lovely food, great service and love the gluten free menu. Will be taking my Dad there as he loves Fish and Chips!
Did I hear someone say "Gluten Free?!" I was overwhelmed with happiness when my other half took me to this cosy and very friendly staffed restaurant. Loved the food, wasn't too pricy and i had an ice cream bigger than my head!! Which in my case, is a good thing :) Will be booking a table for the work night out, I love place now and will be a regular!
Appallingly overpriced and definitely not the best fish and chips in town. Not worth a journey to, not worth having as a local.
A disappointing meal for all diners in our party. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble but the food, well that's another story! The fish was dry, overpriced and small in portion size. When my husband returned it, he was swiftly presented with another fresh plate with the same small, dry overcooked fish. It was grossly overpriced and we were shocked at how this restaurant had recieved any good reviews. Enter with caution!!!
Was not impressed, looks a lovely place, but my takeaway ORGANIC ! pie was all pastry and no filling, what there was of it was dry and overcooked. Not worth the £5 price tag
