The general ambience is inviting, and there were plenty of other diners on the evening I visited. A starter of vegetable spring rolls was really excellent - way better than the usual offering in Chinese restaurants - hot, fresh, crisp but not greasy, with a lovely chilli sauce and nice crisp lettuce. The main course that I chose was simmering prawns; it was very good, but the prawns weren't peeled, so trying to peel very hot prawns was extremely difficult and messy, and there was no finger bowl for cleaning fingers (although diners on the next table got a finger bowl!). An accompaniment of noodles and mushrooms was also very good.

I would recommend this place! The food issue from good hearty ingredients. It's simple food that is very tasty they aren't bothered about appearance, just generous portions of simple but tasty food! The service is excellent and they will happily advise you what yet recommend. The restaurant is designed to give you an authentic Vietnamese experience. It's good value for money with a main costing around £8, although I'm sure after they are estaishrd their prices will go up. Try it!
