A French brasserie located a short walk from the main Piazza in Covent Garden, Palm Court serves classic French dishes like mussels, steak frites and salad Niçoise. In addition to the mainly-French, Old World-skewed wine menu, there is also a cocktail menu.

Mediocre food, nice enough atmosphere but the restaurant is sweltering. The service really lets this place down. It is slow, rude, and is undoubtedly the worst service I have ever had in London.

Ros A

Disagree with the 2013 review from Ava, this place has certainly cleaned up its act. Set just off the main hub of Covent Garden, this had all potential to be awful because of its location in touristville, where they might not have to make the effort. We held a surprise Christmas meal here for a friend and I think it was good. The food was probably somewhere between 3 and 4 star for me but we had a Christmas menu which never showcases a venue's proper ability. Service was outstanding and they were very friendly - we had an issue with one dessert but they were super apologetic and returned it promptly and with a smile. It was rather hot in the venue but it was also packed out. This strikes me as a good venue for a business lunch or dinner, or a small family get-together perhaps somewhere in theatreland.
