  • Possibly the worst service I've ever experienced in London - they forgot 3 different dishes, food arrived cold, and servers were unapologetic. Avoid!

  • January can be little depressive, so few friends and i decided to take it by the horns and went out last Friday. The pub had just re-opened after Christmas and was buzzing with people. Their tapas menu was still a little short - but considering it was their first open day, it still had the all time favorites serrano ham croquettes and manchego cheese spring rolls. One of my friends had rabbit pappardelle, and I had a little 'dip bread in gravy' in her plate - delish! Anyway, long story short - I will be back time and time again, food never disappoints and the staff are super cool and friendly...good looking too :)

  • Hopeless. Have eaten in here a few times as it's very close to work. The food is pretty average and service is highly variable. As others have observed, it can be very slow. On my most recent visit I was served a pint of cloudy Pedigree which the barman initially refused to change saying 'it's supposed to be like that'! Eventually persuaded him to change it for a pint of Doombar, only to find this undrinkable as it tasted strongly of detergent. I gave up.

  • I was very disappointed with the service and the food and will not be dining in this establishment again. We arrived for an early lunch on a weekday, and were the only people at the time our orders were taken - 45 minutes later we were still waiting for our food, which on arrival was cold, undercooked and the gravy with the wild boar sausages was bearly a thimble full - food was returned twice to the kitchen to try and get it right and in the end our lunch hour was over and some even left without eating. The service was appaulling - the staff were rude, and unhelpful when there were issues.

  • Disappointing. Poor service, poor food. Overpriced. Don't be tempted to eat here - you will be disappointed.

  • I have just returned with a party of 12 from lunch at the Queens Head and Artichoke. We booked in advance to arrive at 12:00 for lunch. We were the first diners to arrive and the last to be served at 1.30. Main course was terrible, most of us had lamb, with tabouleh and yoghurt dip. Tabouleh and dip seemed to have been just removed from the fridge and lamb which should have been just cooked was also cold and in some cases very underdone. Manager was very pleasant but in no way accepting that this was unacceptable. Staff were overworked and slow to prepare the table for menu choices and had to be asked to clear the table between courses. Prices were high even for central London and we would not return.

  • As the Time Out review was posting in Sept 2010, I suggest they go back again and try it out again as this place was not 4 stars by any means. The tapas were bland and boring, the artichoke was cold and tasteless and the chicken liver pate was green. Not impressed.
