The music studios attached to this eaterie have seen everyone from Nina Simone to Spiritualized go through the mixing desk, though an appetite-dampening picture of Jamie Cullum features on the café's wall of fame. The rock 'n' roll ethos snakes through to the eating section, where breakfast is served until 5.30pm in a head-spinning number of combos. Choose from meaty or veggie sausages, bubble and squeak, hash browns and thick bacon on a man-sized platter surrounding a lake of beans, or have them fill a sandwich. It's predictably greasy grub, great for filling a hangover hole. In the evening a bistro menu is offered: a mixed, loosely Mediterranean bag of meze dishes, pastas and grilled meats. The dining space is titchy, though not overbearingly cramped, and service is chummily bustling.
