The vibe is relaxed at this all-you-can-eat Brazilian place, despite the surprisingly formal dining room, the centrepiece of which is the buffet bar.
Load up on salads, olives and feijão, but don’t overdo it, because if you’ve opted for the rodizio menu – as you should – you’ll be brought plate after plate of meat fresh from the grill: rump, sirloin, chilli-flavoured chicken, chicken heart…
There are 15 selections in all, and staff give you as much time as you need to get through the lot.
The chicken, in its various forms, was best; the steak was a tad dry, although the fillet wrapped in bacon was deliciously tender and dripping with flavour. Desserts are palate-cleansers, and the wine and beer list suitably uncomplicated.
