Noodles in soup stock might seem like a simple concept, but finding a decent bowl of ramen, one of Japan’s many noodle soup varieties, can prove tricky in London at times.

This relocated Japanese caff, formerly Ramen Seto in Soho, don't do a bad job. There are a few varieties on offer like soya sauce (shoyu), miso and Korean pickled cabbage (kimchi). All are made with an earthy chicken and pork bone broth and filled with pleasingly chewy noodles. Another ramen shop staple, pork gyoza dumplings, make a good choice too with crisp bottoms and bouncy wrappers.

Also available are a range of set meals like teriyaki, tempura or sashimi served with rice and miso soup none of which will break the bank.

I am Japanese and I live in Camden! This is a homely comfy restaurant and sometimes I miss Japan I go there for Ramen, Tempra or nibbles with Sake:) Friendly staff and reasonable tasty food... much much better than Bento restaurant in Camden.

nice taste and reasonable price. one of the favourite authentic japanese restaurant in london

Not the tastiest ramen in Lond, however... By far, the place with the most pleasant price/quality ratio. Staffs are nice, they are flexible and they listen to you. Strongly recomended

Been eating Ramen Seto's noodles since they were in Yaohan Plaza some 20 yrs ago. May not be the best or most fancy, but honest food. The Extra Large portion was a favorite, could almost finish it on my own. When the Kingly street placed was closed, me and the wife were utterly horrified, can't wait to visit the new place in Camden.

Home-cooked style Japanese food, fresh ingredients and a very reasonable price! Shame not more people know about this place. Definitely worth trying. My children's favourites are their chicken curry rice and shallowed fried pork dumplings (must-try!) and mine is their seafood ramen. Their ramen is not the same as what you normally get in other Japanese restaurant, smooth and has a slight chewy bite! Yummy!

This restaurant is amazing value for money with high quality Japanese food and fresh ingredients. Service was charming. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

Seto Ramen moved to the premises of our previous local favourite Thai restaurant so we had high expectations for quality. On first visit on Sept 30, 2012 we tried pork gioza, tuna sashimi, kimchi ramen and salmon teriyaki. All were very fresh, generously sized, and very, very, very tasty. Price-quality ratio is excellent. Going back tonight :)

Just been there recently and find out that they have moved over here from Soho. I love this Miso Ramen, it is one of the trademark dishes of Seto and I ordered some Gyoza Dumpling, it is absolutely delicious. They are now have lunch special too, any main course plus a glass of wine only cost me £6.50. I would say this is good value of money.
