[title]
Cutesy, kitsch and overwhelmingly pink, this Covent Garden shop is basically the real estate equivalent of a cupcake. Unfortunately, the cakes themselves are even more cloying. The sponge here is dry and crumbly, and comes topped with masses of eye-wateringly sweet icing. And even though there are some exciting-sounding flavours on offer (Ferrero Rocher, raspberry chocolate and Kinder Bueno among them) every cake comes with either a plain chocolate or plain vanilla base. Take off the icing and it all tastes exactly the same. Zero points for effort, sweetheart. And that’s a cupcake crime.
