This upmarket fish and chippy on Chiswick High Road brings a bit of sophistication to the enduring British favourite. True, there's a classic frying range keeping things warm under halogen lights but there's a bistro feel to the restaurant proper - wine bottles fill a cabinet, the menu is handwritten on blackboards and the wood flooring is positively brushed.
