  • To a tea has the best salads for lunch in possibly all of London. It should be named "Ode to Vegetable" . When you go to chains like EAT , Pret and even apostrophe for a salad, the selection seems intriguing enough but the outcome is utterly underwhelming. To a Tea salads are not for the faint hearted. There's no namby-pamby bits of unidentified wilting greenery. Every chunk of heartily roasted, dripping in garnishing bite is rich in flavour and bold in colour. It's a triumph in the art of vegetable. It must be noted, however that they do use the word salad in the loosest possible sense, so if you're counting the calories this is probably not an adequate destination. I would rather add a few extra calories per meal for the privilege of eating a celebration than save those hours of gym time just to shove sad food in my face. Wouldn't you?

  • Been going to the lovely little place for over a year now and i love it. I thought it was great when it jsut served teas and cakes but with the addition of lunches it stepped up even futher. The lunches are tasty and the cakes, especially the red velvet, to die for!

  • Wow, this place is constantly packed. Brilliant salad selection all made fresh daily - can't find that anywhere else near my work. The staff pay attention to the way you like your food cooked if you are choosing one of their plenty hot and scrummy dishes. Wash it down with one of their overwhelming selection of fine loose teas and watch the world pass you by in this place - great ambience and excellent decor. Busy during lunch times but great buzz. Try tea time and select one of their cupcakes - constant change of selection from pistachio to ginger root cupcakes or try their delicate fruity pastries and OMG their Red Velvet cake!

  • great lunch place! The best gnocci I've ever had, followed by a pot of "monkey-picked" tea. Staff friendly and helpful - tea perfectly done - all for only £8! I'm planning to go back for afternoon tea and bring a friend.

  • To a Tea is like a tea musuem, fabulous ambience and I love their Lampsung, Rose Bud and White Peony teas presented in glass teapots. Service is great and the staff are friendly. Salads and food are freshly made daily and great array of cakes and muffins to accompany your tea or coffee. A real treat and a great find in the City!
