Step into this quirky French pâtisserie and you immediately leave the hustle and bustle of Clapham for a place that would seem more at home in a small French town.
As the name suggests, macaroons are available to eat in or to take away, and they are excellent. Deep-filled sandwiches, croque monsieur, glazed fruit tarts, pastries and brownies are similarly tempting.
Decor is eclectic, with stained-glass windows depicting various baked goods, a faux-sky ceiling complete with cherubs, a collection of ornate lights and china crockery that looks like it came from your nan's.
Stop by for lunch or a cup of tea - rose, blackberry, hibiscus and jasmine are just part of the selection - or take away French supermarket goodies such as Teisseire cordials, Banana chocolate drink, and bakery favourites.

Tables outdoors ( 3, pavement ), Babies and children admitted, Takeaway serviceAuthentic french bakery and patisserie! Bread is not the quality you would expect from a french bakery but I'm picky on this anyway.
Cakes are simply great and always fresh. Macarons are simply the best in london to me, far from the places charging you for their name rather than the quality of the cakes they server. Don't understand how you can be disappointed for such cheap and tasty cakes!
food not good at all.
and waiter staff not professional
good thea but coffee bad only the macaron are great
Love this quaint little place. is in the perfect position, the sun filters throught the big windows and you can people watch for hours looking out over Clapham common. i got a soy latte(not that great but wouldnt stop me not going back) and a baugette with ham cheese and gherkins, very delish!! loved the mis matched cutlery and plates! reminded me of grannies. my bill for coffee and a satisfying lunch with a beautiful soulful view and atmosphere cost me under a fiver! i will be taking friends there this weekend to show off one of Clapham commons tresures!
RIP Macaron! Sorry to sound harsh, but as a local and frequent customer it seems that Macaron have changed something - Good gracious I think even the croissants are now bought in (maybe they always were and I just didn't know it). The baguette I just purchased was definately 'bake-off'. Anyway, people move on - it is my guess that this is what has happened. it has surprised me as I thought it was owner operated.
