O Moinho thumbs its nose at its setting on a grubby stretch of Wandsworth Road with its smart waiters, pristine tablecloths and the kind of elegant wine glasses more usually associated with Sloane Square than Stockwell. The walls are decorated with signed football shirts and other Portuguese paraphernalia, adding charm to an otherwise formal setting. Tables are ready-laid with snacks of olives, bread and fish pâtés - but, as in Portugal, you'll be charged for these. Many customers share mains, as portions are massive: we split a seafood and vegetable skewer featuring huge king prawns, tender squid and sweet peppers. But the smartest move was that of our neighbours, who took the soupy seafood rice, pitched at two people, and stretched it to feed four.
