Worst cocktails I have ever tried. Staff are miserable and unfriendly, place it too packed to dance properly and new management have made sure that there is little space for dancers to enjoy themselves. It's become a booze house/ chav meat market and is not the international / multicultural place it used to be where you could dance all night without being bothered by wasted men leering all over you.

Wish we could have the original bar salsa back :-(

Bar salsa used to be one of the best venues in London for food and salsa. I have been going there for 9 years.
Since the new management and refurbishment the venue has declined in quality and good members.

Bar salsa is now a place for tourist and students only. So if you love nasty and greasy food, cheap but average drinks, guys that are worse than dogs in heat, stinking/flooded toilets and very very poor salsa this is the place for you!

PN: Now water must be bought inside and cloakroom is compulsory (thanks to the loss of revenue the club is having!)

What a pity!

Music in this place is not bad, but the atmosphere is terrible, both from clients and from the staff. I have visited this place quite a few times and over the time i see is going down every year. The last day (and last time I will be there) we were at the closing time and one bouncer, without any notice, grabbed me from the back and threw me to the street, as when someone is creating trouble, which certainly i was not. A friend tried to asked why I was thrown out, and the bouncer threw him as well. Why? we never knew... odd
In other words, if you want to have a relative good time (see the word relative) but with the risk to getting into a fight (with bouncers or clientele).. go to this bar... otherwise, there are many other places in london that play good salsa.
