Patties might rule the menu here, but the experience of dining at Haché is closer to that of an urbane modern restaurant than a burger bar. The interior is chic and intimate; the glow of hanging candelabra and mirrored wall panels soften the dark wooden furniture and beams to create a surprisingly romantic mood.

The attention of the young staff varied, but this was soon forgotten when a glass of tart real lemonade and a creamy vanilla milkshake arrived. Prime Scotch beef is used in the burgers, and the range of combinations is lengthy and innovative - roasted red pepper and goat's cheese, say, or portobello mushroom and basil pesto.

Cooked to tender perfection, they're served on floury ciabatta or brioche, with generous sides of skin-on chips or sweet potato frites. Alternatives include burgers made with fish, chicken, lamb and even crispy duck, as well as several vegetarian falafel burgers, and salads. Pricing is very reasonable considering the premium ingredients and restaurant-standard cooking.

I had a lunch at Hache yestarday(thursday) was my third time and I am always asking myself, why I am not going more often...the food was marvelous and though the restaurant was busy the service was friendly and quick.
Definetely I would not wait too long for the next time.

I like the atmosphere, the burgers were good but not worth the frustration. I have been there 3 times, each visit was the same- waiting- waiting for the menu, drinks and longer for the food. This would be a great place if the staff could pull it together!

THE BEST Burgers this side of the river and the other side for that matter. I don't usually go for burgers but these are simply amazing. Great onion rings and fries too. I have not witnessed any rudeness from the staff as other reviewers have but dont let that put you off. the only downside might be difficulty getting a table especially at weekends, which further proves how good this place is!

Agree with the reviewer's comment about the stroppy staff - having made a on-line booking for an early Sunday dinner for 2 (which was confirmed by the restaurant), my partner and I turned up to meet Miss Personality Bypass, who snottily informed us she had no record of the booking and spoke to me like I was a lying half-wit for claiming otherwise! She ungraciously allowed us to take a table (the place was practically empty) but then proceeded to ignore us for 15 minutes without even giving us the menu or taking a drinks order. So we got up and left and went for tapas up the road instead. The search for London's definitive burger continues!

Best Burgers in London are at the Cross Keys Pub, Chelsea. The Wagyu Burger with truffle fries is to die for. The precious meat is served in a freshly baked brioche bun. There is the Special Burger Club sauce they use which I think is french's mustard and Ketchup. It works so well with the meat!

Best burgers in London in my opinion and that of the many friends I have taken there. This is one of my favourite places. From the gorgeous flowers lights on the mirrors to the amazing onion rings - Hache makes the world seem like a better place!
