I was looking forward to something special. I ordered scallops as a starter, the corn-bread was burnt and needed to send it back. The waitress brough me plate with just 2 scallops on instead ( everyone else got 3) and the dish was just cold. Apart from that each plate looked different with different salads on! Mango salsa wasn't juicy enough and the whole dish was just bland.
As a main I had Moqueca which was another dissapointment. It was to be a hearty stew, instead I got 1 sad prawn, a few pieces of fish and maybe 3 mussels, the tomato-coconut sauce was just flavorless and rice could be just be a ready meal from supermarket. Didn't just dare to order a dessert after that.
The service ok, but it's more about food.
Overall very overpriced for the quality. Far below expectations.
Wouldn't recommend at all.

My girlfriend and I ate here to celebrate my birthday and we found the food and service to be excellent. The menu is unusual to us but we enjoyed the experience of trying something new; we both enjoyed our starters of chorizo and empanadas. We chose the same main of Rabbit in Inca chocolate sauce and really enjoyed it.
The service was friendly and unobtrusive; the staff were always willing to answer our questions. The entire experience was great and as we are new to the area we will definitely be visiting again.

Had an absolutely fantastic meal here on saturday night - i had Chorizo Columbiano, Ají de Gallina and Alfajores con Helado de Café for desert. Each was a riot of fantastic flavours and i will definately be going back! Portions were quite large (we really didnt need the sides of plantain and Papas Criollas that we had ordered), and wine was very reasonably priced, and pretty good. Service was happy, attentive and fun, and the total bill was very decent.

went to Sabor on the basis of the TimeOut review and was very disappointed. The place looks good but the food was a real let down - style over substance. Ordered the tuna ceviche that had coconut milk mixed into the marinade - this made the whole dish look sort of creamy and grey, very unapptesing - and took away all the zest and freshness you would expect from the dish Reading the menu full of strange combinations you felt the food could either be really interesting or go horribly wrong and in general we found the latter to be the case. Fish served with oxtail stew felt like two different meals had been put on one plate. Would definitely not recommend.

Coming so highly recommended, I decided to take my mother here last summer. It was pretty quiet for a Saturday evening, but the world cup was on after all. Can't fault the food - unusual, with a dessert involving fruits that while not wholly pleasant, were certainly intriguing....What really disappointed was the service. We ordered our food, and when it came, being on the small side, we asked whether anything else was coming along with it. We were told that we should have ordered sides, which we then did. We waited, and waited for the sides. Having nearly finished my main, I checked how the sides were doing, at which point the waitress nonchalantly informed us she'd forgotten to put the order in. No apology. We had to practically jump up and down to get her attention throughout, and when we left, calling out goodbye, she didn't look away from the TV (yes! world cup or not...). Her colleague managed to bid us farewell. The food wasnt cheap, and the service left me feeling like I'd been completely swindled. Won't be going back.

I read all of that with my mouth watering then got to the bit where it says 'offer available Sundays' and that it finishes today (Thursday). Argh!
