International Fashion Showcase

130 designers, 30 countries, 4 continents: the fourth International Fashion Showcase promises a glimpse of some of the world’s most exciting design talent. A collaboration between the British Council and the British Fashion Council, it’s also the only BFC initiative that’s open to the public over fashion week. With static exhibitions arranged by country, highlights include an exploration of traditional Nigerian costumes, a Polish ‘night out’ and Ireland’s ‘In The Fold’ exhibit, an experiential installation that explores how fashion can construct cultural identity. There’ll also be a public programme of talks and events throughout fashion month.
