Jeroboams has grown a lot, partly through acquisitions of other independent merchants, including whisky specialist Milroy's of Soho. Its core business is still good wines with a heavy emphasis on France. Though often viewed as an old-fashioned merchant catering for big spenders, it has surprisingly good offerings for under £10, with lots of New World gems.
There's another branch in Belgravia, as well as shops in Knightsbridge, Mayfair, Notting Hill, Holland Park and Hampstead.
