Since Christopher Bailey sent Cara D et al down the catwalks wearing monogrammed blanket coats at Burberry’s autumn-winter show, the fashion world has gone mad for monogramming. Thanks to Johnstons of Elgin, it just got easier to get your initials emblazoned on a piece of cosy cashmere. The brand’s Selfridges pop-up will offer speedy in-store personalisation, costing £5 per letter and taking around 5 minutes. An exclusive (and Burberry-esque) blanket cape will also be available, retailing at £495.
