Fantastic hidden gem this salon is. Great value for money, huge selection on colors and fantastic service. Will defiantly be back!
I booked a pregnancy package - £85 for a manicure, pedicure, eyebrow wax and 45 minute massage. It was a last minute booking and they did say they'd squeeze me in, and that the massage would have to be a facial because their massage therapist wasn't in.
I arrived at 2.33 for my 2.30 appointment. The receptionist greeted me with "we don't have time for the full package, but we can do you a manicure, pedicure". I wasn't delighted with that given I had travelled 45 minutes to get there, but said that if they could do me a good deal on the mani pedi then it was ok. Their starting point was their price list - £40. The manager was called. I was told it was my fault for being late. We finally compromised on a mani, pedi and eyebrow wax for £40, which was ok but not something I would have travelled across town for.
The therapists were very nice and the salon was clean and light. The pedicure chairs I found deeply uncomfortable - they were armchairs, but you ended up with your legs squashed down and neck wedged against a gilt mirror.
I thought the mani pedi itself was good at the time - and they did have a good range of colors, but 2 days later and I'll have to take the colour off as it's been peeling off in chunks.
Overall pretty frustrated and disappointment. If you live next door it's probably not a bad option, but not worth going out of your way.
Hello, I went to this salon recently. I really liked it, I liked the girls and I enjoyed my treatment I had. I wasn't rushed in and out, they took their time, offered refreshments and actually had a pleasant chat with the girls. They tailor stuff around you, if you want them to do something they do it. Very happy I went here, I'll definitely visit this salon again whenever I'm in London.
Very disappointed with this salon. Had read good reviews about this salon so booked a deluxe mani pedi. Was not impressed with the service I got. Cleanliness is not one of its strong points. Chairs were dirty and stained with previous clients nail clippings on them. When I asked the therapist if she could clean my chair was told its only acetone marks on them!! My deluxe pedicure was certainly not a deluxe one. The salon did not even have the right equipment to remove hard skin. One would expect value for money as it was not cheap, well not here!! I certainly did not get one. When I complained that i was not happy with my treatment I got a phone call from the owner To say she was sorry to hear I was not happy with my treatment. Was not offered a comeback or complimentary pedicure nothing... Totally disappointing experience.
I got my nails done at Lyttle Minx and i'm so happy with the result, even 2 weeks later my shellac is in perfect condition, obviously it has grown out with my nail, but i can still get away with it because of the good job. Had my eyebrows done as well as they were a mess, and the new shape they made was what i've been trying to achieve for ages. I will see you soon!
Having searched HIGH and LOW for the best in price, speed, technique and customer care... I can safely say this is the where I will be staying put from now on. I live in Pimlico and have tried and tested a range of household names in Chelsea, Knightsbridge, West London... you name it, and I have NEVER left feeling as satisfied as I did from Lyttle Minx. The service is just as you would like it be and you get a real sense of their being strong emphasis on customer care. I felt as though I had been a long standing client and open to chat away whilst the nail technician did my nails. And might I add that the speed was excellent. I have been to Nails Inc in Harvey Nichols and they have taken a lifetime to do something which lasts a week max. This is without a doubt, THE nail salon to go to. Don't waste time anywhere else! It's is affordable luxury!
Defiantly my local guilty pleasure! Great value for money and they repair chipped nails for free! Cant complain there! Worth checking out.
Wonderful salon with wonderful therapist, highly recommended, a shame the clients below expect so much for such a cheap and cheerful salon, probably best people like you dont come back.
Do not go to this salon. I'm in complete support of the review below, my nails were cut and were flying all over the place, it was filthy, very bad customer service, they didn't know what I was even booked in for and the finish on one of my nails was smudged. Not exactly cheap either- £52 for a shellac hands and feet. Didn't receive a foot soak or anything. I was also told on the phone that I'd receive 10% off as first time customer but at the salon was then told the deal wasn't on during holidays. Since when was the 23rd december a holiday? I came here after seeing it recommended on time out. I'm amazed there's so many other positive reviews! I was booked in for a wax also but seeings as the staff seemed to have no knowledge of this I walked out and found a much better place up the road in crystal palace who could fit me in last minute!
This is by far the worst salon I have ever been to. It was absolutely filthy, I could see clippings of other peoples nails everywhere. They didnt have any of the colours i wanted for my nails, they were running extremely late and i couldnt sit next to the person i went with so we all sat in silence. I was extremely disappointed as I had been looking forward to visiting this place on the recommendation of timeout! I would never go here again and I painfully I had to hand over my money at the end of the terrible experience at this place.
I absolutely adore this place! I also visit the beckenham branch too if I'm in the area. Both salons have excellent beauticians and make me feel very welcome. Highly recommended!
Worth every penny, money well spent. Would highly recommend, i travel from Bermondsey and this is now my fortnight retreat!
Just came of Lyttle Minx and i must say im well i,pressed. Providing the prices they charge the products and quality of service is outstanding. Will defiantly be back!
I as a business owner always like to keep in tact with my beauty treatments and always tight on time but here at Lyttle Minx helps me do just that. I get my nails looking good every week and affordable too. I'm always in and out and that's how i like it.. £7 for a polish? Who's complaining? Keep it up girls!
Went to Lyttle Minx for the first time today to have some waxing and shellac pedicure done. A few hairs leftover which I tweezerd out when I got home but overall it was a job well done. Friendly girls, cute salon and a good service. I think all that's missing is 1 or 2 foot spas for a proper pedicure. I'll definitely be back & of course recommend :)
Lovely set out salon with so much to offer, i like how all their tools are sterilized in barbicide and a sterilizer (not a lot of other salons bother) and such a good selection on Shellac colors i will defiantly recommend and be back!
I have now been here several times for my shellac and i must say they never fail to impress. The girls do not rush the job and we always have a great conversation throughout the treatment. The threading lady also is hugly talented, makes me look like iv just had a mini face lift every time i leave! Will highly recommend well done girls! Love Tanna x
Absolutely amazing, good prices, fantastic service will most defiantly be returning even though its a 20min drive well done to the girls who works there! Fi x
