Marks & Spencer will be hosting a second-hand childrenswear clothing pop-up, ‘Kids Shwop Boutique’, to support Oxfam’s Mother Appeal Campaign. The properly merchandised shop will sell good quality clothing and accessories donated by the public (every M&S store has a donations bin for your contributions throughout the year), as well as choice pieces from celebrities including Abbey Clancy, British Bake Off's Mel Giedroyc and TV personality Zoe Ball (each inscribed with a message from its former owner). The three-day event, held at the retailer’s Marble Arch store, is free and open to the public with the sole proviso that you must donate an unwanted kids' clothing item. No kids but moved by the cause? Show your support via social media mentioning @shwopping and #LoveMum. The charity aims to raise £10 million to help alleviate poverty in families around the globe.
