Manolo Blahnik CBE has become one of the most prestigious shoe designers in the world. You have to buzz to gain admittance but once inside the service is impeccable as you rub shoulders with women happy to pay a month’s rent for a pair of his timeless shoes. Best known for his killer heels, Blahnik’s designs run the gamut from flat slip-ons to boots. The black patent high-heeled Campari model (aka the Mary Jane), immortalised by Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City, and often seen on the hoofs of Kate Moss, has now been brought back to the collection by popular demand. Blahnik launched his first men’s collection in 2008.
