A traditional German-style Xmas market with stalls – in wooden chalets situated between the Southbank Centre and the London Eye – selling hand-crafted toys and gifts, amber and silver jewellery, Christmas tree ornaments, hand-tatted lace, candles and ceramics. While children are enjoying the carousel in the centre of the market, the grown-ups can sip Glühwein and munch bratwurst, gingerbread hearts and roasted almonds.
