B store could be London's quietest fashion success story of the noughties. Originally set up as a shoe retailer, with a shop on Conduit Street, B store quickly outgrew its first home in 2006 and moved to Savile Row and then to this flagship Carnaby outpost. Designed by Pablo Limon and Tom Finch, screenprints of concrete cover changing rooms, triangular neon lights are embedded in the ceiling, and alcoves have been created for the store's always impressive shoe offering. B store is now a major retail player in London. It has shown at London Fashion Week since 2008, won a British Fashion Awards Shop of the Year gong and consulted with Topman on its concept store. B store sells wearable clothes for men and women, but always with a creative twist. This applies to both its own range (which makes up 70 per cent of the store's stock), and guest labels including Peter Jensen and Christophe Lemaire.
