  • As a woman I was perhaps more the target for this, but I still found it excruciating. It went all around the houses trying to make a point without actually having one and just dragged and dragged. I would have thought it'd be more tightly written given that it's been transferred. Plus the big 'hilarious' set pieces didn't make any sense - their place in the story just seemed incongruous. Tamsin Greig is a good actress, though she's never been in anything I've enjoyed. A disappointing trend continues.

  • Whoa, look at those claws on sourpuss Lukowski. Another shredder job on a half-decent and enjoyable play. 'Jumpy' focuses on middle-class, middle-aged mores, miscellaneous anxieties and sepia feminism and their complex nuances. It is well worth seeing but don't expect it to be a 'Posh' or 'Clybourne Park'. Accept it for what it is. A word to the wise Andrzej - the first sentence and inner voice of your review should have reliably informed you Jumpy was not a drama for you and you should have given the opportunity to another TO critic who would be more empathetic. Next time leave your claw hammer at home.

  • It was a pretty good play, but not the best. I felt it could have been much better. There were a few fun moments, especially that awful burlesque routine, but as Mr Lukowski mentioned above, it has nothing on Posh. It is entertaining but only on an average level.
