Time Out says

A revival of the play about US/UK culture clash that Abraham Lincoln was watching when he was assassinated in 1865.

This is the play that Abraham Lincoln was watching when he was assassinated in Washington, in 1865. Whether or not that can tell you anything about the play itself is debateable. But there's no doubt that it's a historical curio and the tiny Finborough Theatre loves those. Here Tom Taylor's play is revived for the space by Lydia Parker. It's about Trenchard Manor, a British home in the British countryside that's facing financial ruin, when a cousin from the US turns up to clash with that stuffy upper class culture and stake a claim on the house.
