Time Out says

Guildhall School presents the European premiere of Ned Rorem’s intimate 2006 chamber opera. It sets a libretto (by JD McClatchy) based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning and widely admired play of the same name by Thornton Wilder, depicting life and events in a small town, Grover’s Corners, New Hampshire. Directed by Stephen Medcalf; the conductor is Clive Timms. (The performance on May 29 is preceded by a free performance of opera arias and overtures by wind, brass and percussion students in the foyer at 6pm.)
