For just over two weeks Camden's Roundhouse will be the home of The Last Word, the theatre's second ever festival of spoken word, following its first year in 2013. There will be panel discussions, readings, performances, workshops and more. Spoken word poet Polar Bear will premiere his piece 'Back Down' to launch the festival (May 16-24), while 'Poetry Reincarnation' follows in the wake of the first 'Poetry Incarnation' led by Allen Ginsberg, by presenting performances from Michael Horovitz and Salena Godden (May 30). Another highlight is 'SH*TTY POETRY' (May 29) where internet poet Mark Grist teams up with the likes of Tim Clare and an 'anti-slam crew' to celebrate bad poetry.
