Valley of Song

Though the great Ivor Novello died in 1951, his final musical is only now receiving its professional world premiere. 'Valley of Song' was left unfinished at the time of his death and was completed by longtime collaborator Christopher Hassall. Following the shifting fortunes of a landowner and the choir he supports, it's set in the Welsh valleys, on the brink of the First World War.
