[title]
Back at the start of the nineteenth century those poor old Georgians barely even celebrated Christmas. Businesses opened, the monarchy didn't give any speeches and not one family bought and scoffed a massive tub of Quality Street. By the end of the century, though, the Victorians had added all the baubles and silliness we know and love, and this London walk looks at how Londoners during this period would spend their Christmas, with more than a few references to Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol'. Booking recommended.
