Bite Street Food

This new monthly street food market takes place in Chrisp Street, the UK's first pedestrianised shopping centre. Built as part of the 1951 Festival of Britain, Chrisp Street has been looking less and less visionary as the years have passed, despite a location just a couple of DLR stops from the moneybags of Canary Wharf. Regeneration is promised, but until it materialises the last Friday of the month will see the Bite Collective set up food stalls in front of the Idea Store, giving you a chance to scoff, wriggle around to live music, play giant games and then drown your embarrassment at the pop-up bar.
