Camden Beach

Now closed but reopens in November - cant wait.

Went last Friday and staff were not very helpful and rude. Was told they were closing an hour early just as we arrived and couldn't even get a drink, a great shame

...absolutely love this little oasis in Camden! deck chairs, buckets and spades, and cocktails...! And now - big screens for the Olympics... the staff are hit hard as soon as the doors open! Waited under 10 minutes at the bar during happy hour which was 7 deep when I arrived! Good on the Roundhouse and the tiki bar staff:) It IS busy though, so don't go rocking up to the bar 30 seconds before 7 and shout at the staff when happy hour is over and you haven't been served yet......as one very calm member of bar staff said to an irate (and terribly rude) customer on friday when I went down (my 8th or so visit!) - 'I am sorry, the till determines when the cocktails are buy one get one free....' And with friendly and fun countdowns of happy hour minutes from a staff member at the side of the bar 'tennnn minutes! Get your happy hour cocktail orders in!' - thats fair enough in my books! An amazing place, and worth a visit (or 9!)

Undertrained bad and wait staff but a nice novelty feature in Camden!!

Great bar, perfect for when the sun is out - but painfully slow service. Was stood at the bar for 35 minutes yesterday and it wasn't much faster last weekend. When the majority of drinks are served in cans or bottles it's really frustrating. Would of rated much higher but service spoilt it!

Amazing oasis in the depths of Camden! It's FREE entry the whole time... just need to pay for food and drink which, I certainly don't have a problem with. Have been a few times now - staff have been great (all very helpful) even when it's got busy (the Olympic Ceremony was a fab night). It's a must... especially the ping-pong!

Shocking service. Place is free and nice for a family, just dont attempt to order anything from their sparse menu (only 5 items). My party were told up to 45 min wait for lunch. First order came in 1hr 15mins, final one came about 1hr 45mins after ordering. Staff didn't care and were very cheeky throughout. Wasn't too busy, and most folk there weren't ordering (very wise), and at least 5 members of staff. Shame they ruined such a good concept. You have been warned....

It is free entry but obviously you have to pay foot food and drinks. Great idea - I loved my visit and will go again. Very busy but it's to be expected!!!
