Time Out says

Television is a great way of sneaking science into children’s everyday lives, but coverage has changed over the years. This day of demonstrations and discussions looks at what’s better and what worse about today’s children’s science television, getting kids to spill the beans on what they think of the shows and the science role models they like. Violet Berlin (‘Bad Influence’, ‘The Big Bang’, ‘WhizzbangTV’) will be among the presenters, and the event will be moderated by Gareth Jones (‘How2’, ‘The Big Bang’, ‘Gareth Jones on Speed’, ‘WhizzbangTV’). The event is free but tickets should be reserved in advance.
