The only remaining of Dickens' London homes is lavishly decorated for Christmas and then lit only with candles for these atmospheric late openings. Rather than being led by a tour guide, guests are left to explore the beautifully restored house on their own so as to better soak up the sounds and scents which give the museum its character.
