Time Out says

A little bad news to get out of the way here: this event has nothing to do with deep-fried sweet treats. Fortunately it promises more than enough entertainment to distract you from the lack of carbohydrates, and it's all themed around London's fringes. The doughnut around central London's hole, geddit? Will Self, the festival's patron, will discuss the outer-urban with writer Hanif Kureishi, writers and producers of 'The Inbetweeners' Iain Morris and Damon Beesley will host a screening and Q&A and a panel discussion will look at the way some London peripheries are being transformed. Guests will also find activities and food stalls to keep them busy between sessions.
