For its debut event, FestivalAsia is touching down at Tobacco Dock to give Londoners a taste of the orient. Over the course of three days exhibitors will showcase music, dance, food, fashion and martial arts from more than 25 countries. On the performance stage visitors can expect everything from tea ceremonies to acrobatics, from Peking Opera to Gangnam style. In a dedicated martial arts area young warriors will be able to see examples of styles from Judo, Taekwondo, Wing Chun and more and take part in demonstrations. The food court will be equally varied, offering up flavours from Cambodian to Korean.Those keen to get to dig deeper will be able to visit the spiritual and cultural rooms to learn more about life in the East. And if you can find time between getting a henna tattoo and planning your next holiday you can even visit a speed-dating area.
