Everyday objects will come to life during this participatory event at Discover. All weekend, over-4s (accompanied by an adult) can explore the Trails Tales – a huge board game with a cardboard forest, in which they'll encounter Rapunzel's Tower and the Lost Mountain.
In addition, artist Tim Spooner will perform 'The Assembly of Animals' – mixing science and puppetry, with illuminated liquids and magnetic creatures – on Saturday (over-3s; 11am, 2.30pm, 4pm), while choreographer Tuur Marinus leads the '3ON3' movement workshop on the Sunday (8- to 11-year-olds; 1pm, 3pm), inviting children to dance with boxes and behave like a human domino.
