1. No purchase necessary.

2. One entry per person, no bulk or third party entries.

3. Postal entries for competitions should be sent with your name, address, daytime telephone number, competition you are entering and answer to: Time Out Offers, Universal House, 251 Tottenham Court Road, London W1T 7AB.

4. Email entries for competitions should be sent to competitions@timeout.com clearly stating in the subject header the competition you are entering.

5. Competitions are open to all UK residents (over the age of 18 in alcohol, tobacco or travel-related competitions, or in other cases as stated) except employees of Time Out, the companies or organisations with whom the competition or offer is being run, their agents or anyone directly connected with the promotion.

6. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed, mislaid or damaged in the post or offered for delivery insufficiently stamped.

7. Proof of delivery will not be accepted as proof of receipt. Prizes are as stated only and no cash alternatives will be given. However the promoter has the full and free right to alter arrangements or prizes should circumstances change.

8. The winning answers and the names of prizewinners will be made available to those who send an SAE to the competition entry address. The decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

9. All entries and copyright in them automatically become the property of Time Out.

10. All entrants to competitions and offers are deemed to have accepted these rules and agreed to be bound by them and agree to co-operate in any publicity that may arise.

11. The closing date for receipt of entries is as stated for each individual competition in the magazine or online. The winner(s) will be drawn at random from all valid entries, and will be notified by telephone, email or post within two weeks of the closing date.

12. By providing your email address and entering this competition you agree to receive relevant email communications from Time Out including news, events, offers and competitions.

1. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants. The Promoter may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose and a prize may be withheld unless and until the Promoter is satisfied with the verification.

2. There are four prizes, each one consisting of a 2 night holiday to Madrid for one person and three guests.  

3. The prize includes pre-booked flights to Madrid in economy class Barajas, from London Heathrow. There is no flight alternative. The prize also includes airport transfers in Madrid only, hotel accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis at a 4 star hotel 2 nights with the each winner and their guests sharing two double bedrooms or equivalent.

4. The prize must be taken by the winner and guest on 22-24 August 2014.

5. The winners and guests must provide their own travel insurance and supply proof of insurance to the Promoter upon request. The winners and guests must all be legally able to travel to Madrid and obtain all necessary visas and other documentation. Copies of valid passports will also be required. Any further prize details will be confirmed when the winners are contacted.

6. Any other expenses incurred by the winners and their guests in the general use and/or enjoyment of the prize, are the sole responsibility of the winners and guests.

7. If the prize is declined, or a winner cannot take up the prize or be contacted within a reasonable time, the prize will be forfeited and a supplementary winner may be drawn at the Promoter’s sole discretion. Missed flights, transfers or failure to obtain all of the documentation required will be deemed as the prize being forfeited.

8. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for cancellation, curtailment or alteration of the flights, transfers or accommodation for reasons beyond its control.

9. The closing date for receipt of entries is midnight on 03/07/14.

10. All entrants to competitions and offers are deemed to have accepted these rules and agree to be bound by them, and agree to co-operate in any publicity that may arise which may include their name or image being used on websites, magazines or mobile services at any time as a result of the competition.

11. We reserve the right to disqualify or not award a prize to an entrant who in our opinion has not entered in to the spirit of these terms and conditions or the intention of the competition.

12. If any provision of these terms and conditions is held invalid by any law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of a competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.

13. This promotion and all issues arising out of it shall be governed in accordance with English law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

14. Entrants must be 18 years old or over.

15. By entering this prize draw you agree to the terms and conditions and to receive relevant communications.
