Time Out says

The centenary of the start of World War I is the focus of many events and exhibitions this year, but 2014 marks another historical anniversary. In the summer of 1814 Europe celebrated peace following the fall of Napoleon and the Treaty of Paris. Sir John Soane Museum have gathered a variety of rare artefacts to explore this important period through the eyes of those who experienced it. They include paintings and prints produced for the celebrations in London to mark the treaty and satirical (and unflattering) French cartoons depicting the Englishmen who flooded Paris after the city was opened to visitors. Also on display are items from Soane's collection of Napoleonica, from rare books and portraits to medals and a sword thought to have been presented to revolutionary leader himself. The exhibition is free.
