When commercial art was born in the late 19th century, every possible medium was exploited. This exhibition of advertising on fans – for restaurants, perfumes, even Moët & Chandon – focuses on art deco and the interwar period, a time when leisure activities were coming to the fore, and the middle-classes aspired to new, modern luxuries.
