This night of live storytelling is the first evening event ever hosted at The Monument and it looks like they might be on to a winner. With the help of popular storytelling radio show Nyx Chariot, five original tales of folklore in the city will be told by professional, international storyteller Nell Phoenix. The stories will be streamed through headphones along with atmospheric soundscapes from the radio show which is broadcast monthly on NTS Radio. The event begins at the bottom of The Monument with tea served on arrival, before guests make their way up the 311 step spiral staircase to immerse themselves in London's past and take in the impressive views. This event is only suitable for over-18s due to the adult content and tickets should be booked in advance.
