The Note Well's Speed Listening

The event at which it's not antisocial to wear headphones and play with your phone all evening. Speed Listening aims to help you find new music and make new friends through that age-old communication method, the mix tape. You will be paired with someone new to share tunes with. You each plug into the other's music player/phone and DJ for your new acquaintance for seven minutes before shuffling along to the next person. There's an interval for buying drinks in, and mingling before and after is encouraged. Book ahead to make sure you get a seat.
