[title]
Roger Mayhew, a retired university staff development consultant with a keen interest in early-twentieth-century European politics, delivers a talk about postcard artists in the First World War. Mayhew began collecting WWI postcards 30 years ago and now has 770, so he knows his stuff. He'll be discussing the way the artists portrayed key issues of the time, including the role of women, attitudes towards the wounded and pressures to volunteer.
