Jay Jopling's White Cube empire began in a little room on Duke Street in 1993, so it seems apt that the most recent gallery to open under the banner is situated around the corner on Mason's Yard. Established in 2006, White Cube has complemented its sibling venue in Hoxton with exhibitions by international, high-profile artists such as Sam Taylor-Wood and Miroslaw Balka. The two-floor, free-standing building hosts the gallery's major exhibitions, leaving the Hoxton venue for newer artists.
Two large-scale works, one of which is a fragile shroud composed of rose petals.
