Catch the first-ever major museum retrospective of modernist architect A. Quincy Jones’ career this summer at the Hammer Museum. The LA-based architect built over 5,000 projects from churches to suburban houses and was known for the affordable yet imaginative architecture he designed for a growing mid-century middle class. One of the pioneers of sustainable green design, his work is finally getting a (long) moment in the spotlight. This exhibition will include his original architectural drawings, a rare case study house model and vintage and new photographs of his work.
