Mick Rock: Shooting for Stardust, the Rise of David Bowie & Co.

Taschen Gallery's newest exhibit, "Mick Rock: Shooting for Stardust, the Rise of David Bowie & Co." opens September 10 for a one month run. The exhibition will showcase rare and unseen photographs of Bowie and friends taken by Mick Rock, a prolific music photographer and Bowie's official photographer during the "Ziggy Years." As usual with Taschen's exhibits, the opening will coincide with the release of a new limited-edition book, The Rise of David Bowie, 1972-1973, signed by both David Bowie and Mick Rock.
